ആയുര്‍വേദത്തിനായുള്ള പരിശീലന മൊഡ്യൂളുകള്‍, അതിന്റെ രീതികള്‍ നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങള്‍, ആയുര്‍വേദ ഡോക്ടര്‍മാരെ ആധുനിക വൈദ്യശാസ്ത്രവുമായി എളുപ്പത്തില്‍ സംവദിക്കാന്‍ സഹായിക്കുന്ന സ്റ്റാന്‍ഡേര്‍ഡ് ടെര്‍മിനോളജി ഡോക്യുമെന്റ് എന്നിവ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്ന യു എന്‍ ബോഡി പുറത്തു വന്നതായി ആയുര്‍വേദത്തെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള ലോകാരോഗ്യ സംഘടനയുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ വിശദീകരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഗീതാകൃഷ്ണന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. ലോകാരോഗ്യ സംഘടനയുടെ പരമ്പരാഗത വൈദ്യശാസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ ആഗോള കേന്ദ്രം ആയുര്‍വേദത്തിന്റെ പ്രസക്തി ലോകമെമ്പാടും എത്തിക്കാന്‍ സര്‍ക്കാരുകളുമായി ചേര്‍ന്ന് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കും.
രോഗചികിത്സയുടെ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര വര്‍ഗ്ഗീകരണത്തില്‍ ആയുര്‍വേദത്തെ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്താനുള്ള പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം പുരോഗമിക്കുകയാണ്. 2030 ഓടെ യു എന്‍ സുസ്ഥിര വികസന ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങള്‍ കൈവരിക്കുന്നതിന് ആയുര്‍വേദം പല വിധേന ഉപയോഗപ്രദമാണ്. ചെലവ് കുറഞ്ഞ ചികിത്സാ രീതിയാണ് ആയുര്‍വേദം. ഉല്‍പ്പന്നങ്ങള്‍, ചികിത്സാ സമ്പ്രദായം, ഡോക്ടര്‍മാര്‍ എന്നീ വീക്ഷണങ്ങളില്‍ സുസ്ഥിരലക്ഷ്യം കൈവരിക്കുന്നതിന് ആയുര്‍വേദ ആശയങ്ങള്‍ പൂര്‍ണമായും പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്താനാകുമെന്ന് ഗീതാകൃഷ്ണന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
2022ല്‍ ആയുര്‍വേദത്തിന്റെ ആഗോള വിപണി 30 ബില്യണ്‍ ഡോളറാണ്. ലോകാരോഗ്യ സംഘടനയിലെ 93 അംഗരാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ ആയുര്‍വേദത്തിന്റെ ഉപയോഗം അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നു. കൂടാതെ 16 രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ ആയുര്‍വേദ പരിശീലനത്തെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കുകയും അഞ്ച് രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ ആയുര്‍വേദത്തിന് ഇന്‍ഷുറന്‍സ് പരിരക്ഷ നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. സുരക്ഷിതവും ഫലപ്രദവും ഗുണമേന്‍മയുള്ളതും ചെലവ് താങ്ങാനാവുന്നതുമായ ആരോഗ്യ സംരക്ഷണ മാര്‍ഗം എന്ന നിലയില്‍ ആയുര്‍വേദം പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്താനാകും. ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ മാനസികവും ശാരീരികവും ആത്മീയവും സാമൂഹികവുമായ തലങ്ങളിലാണ് ആയുര്‍വേദത്തിന്റെ സാധ്യതയെന്നും ഗീതാകൃഷ്ണന്‍ കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു.
