ജിദ്ദ: സ്ത്രീകളുടെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ കാര്യത്തില്‍ അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാന്‍ എടുത്ത നിലപാട് തിരുത്തണമെന്ന് സഊദി അറബ്യ. പെണ്‍കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റി വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിനുള്ള അവകാശം നിഷേധിച്ച നിലപാട് അപക്വമാണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ സഊദി ഇത്തരം നിലപാടുമായി മുന്നോട്ട് പോകരുതെന്നും ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.

അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാന്റെ ഈ തീരുമാനം എല്ലാ ഇസ്ലാമിക രാജ്യങ്ങളിലും ആശ്ചര്യമാണ് ഉളവാക്കുന്നതെന്നും മന്ത്രാലയം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ഉന്ന വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിനുള്ള അവകാശം നിഷേധിക്കുന്നത് അവരുടെ നിയമപരമായ അവകാശങ്ങള്‍ നിഷേധിക്കുന്നതിന് തുല്യമാണെന്നും വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
