കൊല്ലം: പാരിപ്പള്ളി യു കെ എഫ് എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജില്‍ ഇന്‍സ്റ്റിറ്റിയൂഷന്‍ ഓഫ് എഞ്ചിനീയേര്‍സ് സ്റ്റുഡന്റ്സ് ചാപ്റ്ററിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഇന്‍സ്റ്റിറ്റിയൂഷന്‍ ഓഫ് എഞ്ചിനീയേര്‍സ് ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ കെ. രാജന്‍ യു കെ എഫ് സ്റ്റുഡന്റ്സ് ചാപ്റ്ററിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിര്‍വഹിച്ചു. കോളേജ് പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പാള്‍ ഡോ. ഇ. ഗോപാലകൃഷ്ണശര്‍മ അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. ഉദ്ഘാടനത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി യു കെ എഫ് സ്റ്റുഡന്റ്സ് ചാപ്റ്ററിനുള്ള മെമ്പര്‍ഷിപ്പ് സര്‍ട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് കോളേജ് എക്‌സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് ഡയറക്ടര്‍ പ്രൊഫ. ജിബി വര്‍ഗീസിന് കൈമാറി. കോഴിക്കോട് നാഷണല്‍ ഇന്‍സ്റ്റിറ്റിയൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ടെക്‌നോളജി പ്രൊഫ. ഡോ. എന്‍. ഗണേഷന്‍ മുഖ്യപ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തി.
വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളില്‍ പഠനത്തോടൊപ്പം പ്രായോഗികത കൂടി ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ പങ്കാളിത്ത മനോഭാവം വളര്‍ത്തിയെടുക്കാന്‍ വ്യത്യസ്ത പരിപാടികള്‍ ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്തു വരികയാണെന്ന് കോളേജ് എക്‌സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് ഡയറക്ടര്‍ പ്രൊഫ. ജിബി വര്‍ഗീസ് പറഞ്ഞു. വൈസ് പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പാള്‍ പ്രൊഫ. വി. എന്‍. അനീഷ്, ഡീന്‍ അക്കാഡമിക് ഡോ. ജയരാജു മാധവന്‍, സിവില്‍ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് വിഭാഗം മേധാവി ഡോ. എം നസീര്‍, അസി. പ്രൊഫസര്‍മാരായ സുജ എസ്. നായര്‍, ചിത്തിര വേണു എന്നിവര്‍ സംസാരിച്ചു.
